School with more than 75 years of tradition
Every story has its beginning. The Secondary School of Pharmacy, Cosmetics and Health, Ljubljana, began its existence in 1945 with the establishment of the Dental Technician School, and was built at its current location in 1960.
Today, we educate for the professions of pharmaceutical technician, cosmetic technician, laboratory biomedical technician and dental technician according to renewed programs that follow the latest developments in the profession. These are enriched with modules to respond to the progress of the profession and offer students a choice.

International affairs
Erasmus+ and other cooperation
International cooperation with similar vocational schools abroad has been going on for many years. We have implemented teachers’ and students’ exchange programs with the schools from the Netherlands, Spain, Ireland and Finland. The teachers’ exchange normally takes one week while the students stay abroad for three weeks performing their practical training.
We would like to intensify our international cooperation for all our programs in the future. Our aim is to find more partner schools to get acquainted with the education systems in different countries, and to enable our students to acquire international experiences. We are also prepared to accept students and teachers from foreign countries to provide them possibilities for exchanging experiences and getting information about our education system.
Accredited CIDESCO school
In 2005 our school successfully carried out the international CIDESCO examination, and was awarded the “CIDESCO school” accreditation. By getting the CIDESCO diploma our students have better prospects of employment at home and abroad.
